Facilitate collaboration with School Improvement Team to establish long and short term goals and strategies for administration, teachers, adjunct faculty, students and the community. Transformation of musical productions at BISFA Led collaboration with musical theatre director, adjunct faculty, ProductionPro development team, and WCPS Tech Services to transition the overall process of musical productions to a collaborative interactive digital platform. Initiated conversation with Production Pro developers to move from iPad application to web-based platform with school wide Chromebook adoption. |

School Improvement Team and CFIP Facilitator:
Collaborate with administration. Serve as the committee chair to develop the School Improvement Plan (SIP), monitor growth and analyze data aligned to the school shared vision and mission. Facilitate monthly meetings with school representatives in both elementary and secondary school settings. Align CFIP to SIP goals and create personalized professional development to support instructional needs of both academic and arts teachers.

The Book Rack @EKD
~Where books are used, but fun to choose~
Developed the The Book Rack as a solution to a community need. Created to spark the love of reading and build home libraries. Students "purchase"gently used books each week using their earned Scholar Dollars. The books are donated through outreach to the community, teachers from WCPS high schools, and local book drives.

Collaboration with the art teacher to develop comprehension intervention that integrates artful thinking strategies and literacy skills. Use literacy data and art critiques to select students and monitor growth from consistent intervention targeting six comprehension strategies: questioning, inferring, making connections, visualizing, determining importance and synthesis .

Coordinated and monitored placement of High School Interns from South Hagerstown High School Teacher Academy at our elementary school. Facilitated training for high school students to build capacity in digital learning and intervention programs.

iRead@Home: Action Research
A mixed methods research study to address a school need to increase time spent reading at home by providing interactive digital leveled text and parent resources. A new leveled digital eLibrary was purchased through Lightsail in order to provide all students with interactive digital text to read at home and school.

Extending the iRead@Home Program to my Doctoral Program
STEM Committee Coordinator
Collaborate with the school STEM team to develop community and school wide STEM events based on WCPS expectations, CCSS and the MD State STEM Framework. Utilize community organizations and local STEM based groups as guest speakers. Designed and transformed the traditional Media Center to create a MakerSpace utilizing the Engineer Design Process and CCSS. Team plan regularly with the Media Specialist to construct units and lessons that align with grade level Essential Curriculum Standards and foster innovation and creativity. |
